Bonnie Berger wins the Test of Times Award from RECOMB and the 2019 Accomplishment by a Senior Scientist Award

- the 2019 test of time award from RECOMB (the top conference in Computational Biology) for her 2007 paper "Pairwise Global Alignment of Protein Interaction Networks by Matching Neighborhood Topology" with Singh and Xu;

- the 2019 Accomplishment by a Senior Scientist Award, which is awarded yearly by the International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB) in the entire field of comp bio and bioinformatics to recognize leaders  for their significant research, education, and service contributions.
