Vinod Vaikuntanathan Named 2014 Microsoft Research Faculty Fellow!

From CSAIL news site: CSAIL researcher Vinod Vaikuntanathan was recently announced as one of Microsoft Research’s 2014 Faculty Fellows.

The Steven and Renee Finn Career Development Assistant Professor in the EECS department, Vaikuntanathan specializes in cryptography and is a member of the Theory of Computation group. 



He works on lattice-based cryptography, building advanced cryptographic primitives using integer lattices; leakage-resilient cryptography, defining and developing algorithms resilient against adversarial information leakage; and more recently, the theory and practice of computing on encrypted data, constructing powerful cryptographic objects such as fully homomorphic encryption and functional encryption.
