Abstract:

There has been an explosion of interest in secure program obfuscation, especially indistinguishability obfuscation (iO), over the last 3 years. However, this study remains in its infancy. In this talk, we'll give an overview of the current state of research on constructing iO, focusing on where we stand in terms of attacks and security models. In particular, we'll discuss recent work showing constructions of iO provably secure in models that capture all known attacks.
